Painting the Portal for the birth of my daughter Ainara was a beautiful way to connect in a creative way to the being growing in my womb. Just like pregnancy itself the painting changed with each session and week, without rush and in a very natural way. Iris guided me through each layer and helped me loosen up with in between dancing sessions and beautiful opening and closing words. The process helped me not only to envision the birth I was hoping to have but also to confront the fears I had around it. It made me remember the artist Child I once was.
